pass your class. parents are there to help you and guide you through your life. if they don't set guidelines for you to follow you'll probably fail all of your classes. your in a tight spot. you knew what would happen, had plenty of time to get at least a "D" so who fault is it. yours or your parents. if they let you off this time then the next time you'll do the same thing knowing you will get off. sorry just pass the class, that is your job in life right now. the only thing in life you HAVE to do. i'll tell you i used to do that. on progress report an f was brought home. i told my kids if they bring home an f on the report card they'll be grounded and i'll beat there as*. one did. i had the other two in the room when i HAD to woop his butt. hes studying a more now. ;)

I am so sorry that you got grounded but you really need to do the time.
And while you are grounded study your but off bring that failing grade up to at lest a C or B , but before you do that make a deal with your parents.
If you can bring the F up to a C or B grade they have to do something special for you.
But there is a down side to this if you fail to bring your grade up after this I really would not want to be you.
So use this time wisely and bring your grades up dramaticly.

You don't get out of it. You're grounded. You failed a class, probably because you didn't study and/or do homework and your parents gave you plenty of warning. I'm glad that your parents are teaching you responsibilities for your actions. If you need a tutor then you need to discuss this with them and the school to work something out.

Finding ways to get out of grounding sounds to me like you don't care about your grades, which is why your parents grounded you in the first place.

Prove to your parents you care about your grades. Bring home assignments, work on them before doing anything fun, show your parents the work you're doing, study your tail off for tests in front of your parents, and show the grades off. Be proud of your work and yourself.

My 13 year-old girl just got un-grounded after 18 weeks of grounding over bad grades. We saw all the work she was doing, how hard she was working, and we actually took her out of one advanced placement class after seeing it was just too hard for her. She finally started getting A&B grades in the other advanced & regular classes, and caring about getting into a decent college after high school. She has a different outlook now than before.

That's what your parents are trying to do for you, so you won't grow up looking for the easy way out.

Now get off the internet and do your homework.

Parents does thing like that for good cause. This is your future. Without an education the only thing left in life is failure. If you fail while trying to succeed; what will you do with the rest of your life? Don't look at it as punishment, use it for time to learn from. Don't settle for nothing less than perfection.

Study, study, study--- so this never happens again. You are learning a valuable lesson. In the meantime, if your parents see you really making an honest effort to bring up your grades after a couple of weeks, they may decide to lighten up on your length of grounding. Good luck.

Bring your grades up. There, you're out of it. If you spend the time and the discipline to keep your grades up, you won't get grounded. It doesn't take that long, and it's your job at this point in your life. Your parents are your safety net. They are there to guide and protect you, sometimes from yourself. I wish my parents had been stricter with me. I wouldn't be fifty, working a deadend job with a GED.

Study and pass so that you will not have to be grounded. It is for your own good. You do not want to work for eight dollars an hour the rest of your life.

The only way out of it is getting better grades, which you should be more concerned about than being grounded.
