It can be found under the trade names Valium and Diastat in the U.S. It can also be found under canadian trade names in the U.S. if it's been ordered from Canada. Canadian Trade names are: Apo-Diazepam, Novodipam, Vivol, Diastat, Diazemuls, Diazepam, and Valium. Any nurse, doctor, or pharmacist will recognize the generic name diazepam (or at least the should). If they don't know it, it's got an entry in all drug reference books which would name it's various trade names.

It's the same. It's known as Valium, but if u mention "Diazapam" to a pharmacist or a doctor, they would know what u are talking about it.
