I forgive, I never forget. And strangely, I forgive for my own sake, not the hurter. Resentments rot the vessel that holds em.

Oh yes, forgiveness is easy to accept. It only becomes hard when you take things so dramatic. Hey just think it this way, if you don't forgive a person you'll be more hurt and things will go on and on and on and it wont stop the next thing you know your dead. Having feelings like that won't help. Life is too short, be happy, sweet.

A lot easier than it used to. Still, it depends on circumstance - whether the person hurt me with intent, or did hurtful things over a long time. That's hard to forgive. I can't forgive my ex because I know he hasn't learned and keeps doing it to other people. Otherwise, I probably would. I've forgiven a lot of ill deeds in my time.

It depends on who hurt me and how many times they've hurt me. See, the other day my mom and mother in law said something to me which really really hurt my feelings but I confronted them and they made it clear to me that they did not realize the things they said were offensive and they didn't mean to be rude. I forgave them. Over the past 4 years, some of my "friends" had treated me very badly, and they kept doing it over and over again. They betrayed me, judged me, backstabbed me and so much more. I forgave them the first few times but then I realized it wouldn't stop and 5 months ago and ditched them. I have not forgiven or forgotten what they did.

With some people it does, but not others. I'm really not sure why that is...
