My Citroen C2 driver side electric window has stopped going up automatically when i lift the switch, you have to hold the switch up. Going down is fine. The switch is ok because i swapped it with the passenger side one which is also automatic. So any ideas? Maybe inside the door? Many thanks people!

Maybe needs re-setting. With the ignition lights on send your window all the way down with your finger on the switch and hold for ten secs then send the window up holding the switch and hold for ten secs you may hear a click as the memory resets.

Is the car still under warranty ? If so get the dealer (stealer) to fix it. Self-repairs can invalidate warranty. Otherwise find a good independant garage, or perhaps check with a Haynes manual. I've got a VW Golf... so can't give any direct experience with Citroen C2..... however...... my passenger side electric window got stuck a while ago.... eventually went up very slowly (but not without a fight). I took the inner door cover off (was a real pain to do)... but saw nothing obvious as to the reason. Assembled it back together.... and then got some silicone spray lubricant (with a plastic tube director) and spayed in the fur material gap, which houses the glass (both sides of the window). That got the electric window working nice and smoothly, up and down... and its not been a problem ever since (over 10 months ago). GL. (Tip: try not get any excess silicone spray lubricant on the paintwork) Theres an even better lubricant for this job... specifically for this job i think.. but i've forgotten the name of it. I don't think you should use a lubricant like WD40 for this job.

I had exactly the same problem with my C4 drivers rear window,if you go to a Citreon main dealer, they will reset the management unit for you free of charge as these problems always happen. This is what you get buying french cars.
