I do not think there is really a right or wrong answer here. I think it depends on when the couple feel they are ready, financially stable ect. It could be 20 years old, and for some, maybe not until they are in their 30's. Some people like to finish college and get a carreer going before having a child, others start families straight out of highschool. I think it depends on the people having the children when the right age is.

There is no right age but 2 years ago I wasn't ready for children....but now, at the age of 28 I feel very ready and can't wait.
The main thing is that your baby will be born into a good environment and loving family!

There is no right age! You have them when you are ready. For some women thats 18, for others thats 38. As long as you are fit and healthy theres no reason why you should "have" to have your kids at any age!
I've just had my first baby (10 weeks ago) at 34. My mum had her kids at 36 and 42. My Grannie had hers at 36, 38 and 40. We all had easy pregnancies and problem free labours and big bouncing healthy babies with nothing wrong with them.
Oh and as for "Its physcially harder for "older" mothers" I have more energy and have recovered quicker from the birth than some 21 year olds I know. Everyone's different.

I wouldnt say that there is a right age it all depends on your personal circumstances and whether someone wants a child or not. My wife is 21 and expecting our 3rd baby on 22nd feb and we cant wait. She loves being a mum and wouldnt have it any other way however his isnt the choice that every one would make. If your emotionally and financially able to support a child and provide proper housing, food, warmth and alot of love then I dont see why you or anyone else shouldnt have a baby.

I dont think that there is a right time...i was 20 when i had my 1st, and 24 when i had my 2nd.....i am now a single mum, and that DOES NOT mean that i drag my kids up and have loads of boyfriends...i have been single for 3 years!!
I always wanted kids early, but bever wanted to be a single mum...but life happens!!
Didnt want to have kids late in life and have to take a career break, then by the time they are 20 i will be 40ish, and able to concentrate on my career, and have fun!

Its not about the age i dont think its about your level of maturity your financial status to look after a family and the stabillity of your relationship with your partner, children can cause alot of strain to a relationship so it needs to be a secure one.and i would say before 17 is a no no as hpoe many girls or boys are mature before this??there still kids thereselfs

There is no magic number that is perfect for everyone. I am 24 and just had my first baby. I had been married 5 years already and my husband is 31. We decided to wait awhile after getting married so we could enjoy each other.
Some people want to be young so they are "young" when their kids are grown. Other people say being older is better because you are more mature.
Good luck

??????????That's a question no one should have the correct answer for just an opinion.
I had my first child at 27-well 1month before I was 28 husband had just gone 31- together since I was 18 and pregnant with 2nd due just after our 10th Wedding anniversary and on my 1st birthday!!!
But I suppose when you feel ready, have had enough fun not to feel tied down.
