I always felt like I used to live in the shadow of my best friend, her kindness, heart of gold, her passion made me feel inferior. Until one day she told me that I had made her the person she was. That just made me smile.

My unrealized potential. When I was younger I was an amateur boxer, my coach told me I was skilled enough to beome a world champion, in a story heard time and again, I decided hellraising and being a juvenile hoodlum were more important to me, and thus my boxing career suffered, I'm now 40 and know full well I'll never really know what could have been, and that is what I'll have hanging over me the rest of my life.

I live in the shadow of a big spruce tree, which offers shade in the hot summer and protection from the cold winds of winter.

Society, and the views that everyone has set for us. There is so much we do not know, but we as a people in this society are ignorant. We fight over politics, and almost anything their is to fight over. Our views are so different, yet we all think in the same box. I think that we should stop being so narrow minded, conceted, ignorant, and immiture in everything. Open up our eyes and see the world for what it truly is.

surprisingly enough, my past. I thought I had closed that chapter in my life and opened up a new one but looking back now, I realize I didn't get closure on certain issues.

Nothing that I can think of.
And you do have a way of asking these really thought provoking questions.
I make a point of looking up your new questions.
You have my gratitude.

ummm, i love to say myself but i think it isn't right. I think to some of my schoolmates and i don't know why. But most of all to my relatives especially to my mom. With all their expectations with me. oh yes, it is really hard. But life still goes on and there are more things to life.

My sister's dream, my friends expectations, my parents hopes, my own goals. There are others, too many to list... My sister's dreams are more important of that bunch, she will never see them fulfilled.
