my boyfriend has been in nigeria for two yrs now he was due home six months ago but he was in a car crash which nearly killed him the doctor told him he could come home after two weeks after his operations but now they are giving lots of medication when he is alright now what can i do i been told they are keeping him as a prisoner what do you all think

im not sure where you are from but contact your embassy get them to intervene if hes well enough to come home then he should

It is my opinion you are in the middle of an elaborate scam with many team members. Have you seen this guy on cam? Talked to him on the phone? What does he sound like? Got an african accent? Did he promise to come and see you, but he needs airplane fare money? By the way, there is no such thing as BTA if he asks you for this. And the American Embassy there can get anyone home if they are asked. Nigeria operates on a cash basis up front system only. Did he contact you from the hospital with the doctor's laptop? Ha. Nigerian hospitals are not even contected to the net. Come to our group for more information and support.

Sounds like a prisoner to me. Why don't he walk out if he can. Check with the U.S. consulate there where he is at, and let them know what is taken place.

Call your American Consulant, see if you can have him transferred to a hospital stateside
