Sure it is normal, no Mother wants to see her child suffer, it's heart breaking. Are you sure that she isn't cutting teeth as well, sounds like she is in pain. Check for that and cuddle up to her, you'll have to ride it out with her.

Yes- It's actually a chemical reaction all mothers have when their child cries, especially a lot. You would have noticed it first when your daughter was a newborn and when she'd cry, you would leak. All mothers have been there, done that at some point. Try giving her a warm bath, maybe take one w/ her. I was reading one of the baby magazines I get and it said that what a child wants most when they are sick is you, and to cuddle up with them as much as they want to. Good luck and I hope your little one feels better soon!

yes mom...i think it is very normal...every mom has different breaking points where we need to take a drive or get a sitter...its ok to feel overwhelmed..my son is 16 months he cries a lot ever since he was born and whenever he gets sick he cries all night no kidding for like one full week...and sometimes i feel like im gunna lose it but then you jus have to snap back into it and realize this is my gift from god and if they could tell us hey mommy my stomach hurts or my head hurts they would...the only way they can get through to us is by crying...so we have to be there for them...and try to set aside some mom time..call your husband mother father ne one to watch the little one for a couple hours...read a book, take a bath with candles i have that one night a week lol...go to the mall something that really relaxes u..and then when the baby is sick you will feel more energized for the long day or night...but she will get better in be back to her loving little self...remember it dosent last forever...good luck mom..

Yes it is normal the way you're feeling.Do you have a rocking chair? If not try walking with her, gently rubbing and patting her back.At that age,it's hard for them to verbilize what's going on.Good luck,it does get easier with age.Keep up the good work.

Tears produced while weeping or crying are due to emotional stress. These tears are commonly associated with negative emotions like physical pain, depression, grief or being hurt. More details and information at http://eye-care.in/tears.html

My son is 11 months and still when he cries I CAN NOT THINK. My heart rate increases, I feel panic. I can not function.

Even if I know he is just tired and we are 5 minutes from home and it is best to just keep going, I can barely function.

This is perfectly normal. Nobody wants to see their child hurt, particularly when you know something is really wrong.

Yes it's normal. My daughter had a few bouts of colic, and when she was screaming, I'd hold her and rock her and wail right along with her.
