It depends on your e-mail provider. Most have a 15-20 mb file limit. It also depends on what type of file you are sending. If you can, break it up into smaller chunks and make it into individually compressed zip files.
gawab.com has a Platinum service which will allow a 50 mb file upload.
The other thing you could do is upload the file to a file storage site like www.snapdrive.net and let whoever you want go to there and download it that way.

What you can do is compress the fileusing WINRAR, and it has an option just before it starts compressing, if you want to split the archive into parts, you can specify the size of each part.
4 parts should do it, right? Mind you, the other person will have to download all the four parts in the same folder, before trying to unpack the archive.
By the way, I always use it in Wizard mode, easier to handle.

Get winzip. It can cut the 30 MB into smaller pieces.

there's just about no way you can email a file of that size some email adresses that you pay for might let you, but then the person who you email it to also has to have one like that. just put it into a zip file like the person before me said
