- I have combination skin
- I normally only wear concealer and then set it with powder
- My skin gets a little bit greasy mid-afternoon
- I have discolorations and an uneven skin tone on the sides of my nose
Is Bare Minerals right for me? Also, should I get the multi-tasking minerals or just the foundation? (I really only want to buy one product right now)

Honestly, if you do not like powdery fine products. This isn't for you. i.d Bare minerals, is a line of beauty products made from the earth, "minerals." It's light and fine but works wonders. With a proper brush you can even out your discolouration of your skin. It's not oily or cakey so it helps your skin from pimples too! It's a little costly but it's so worth it. you can purchase i.d Bare Minerals from ULTA stores or SEPHORA.

If you have a Sephora in your neighborhood mall go in and have a consultant help you. There are many kinds of Minerals out there besides Bare Minerals and yes It is not a product for everyone. However minerals are better than foundation which clogs the pores. The consultants there do not charge you to give you advice and they have several options to choose from. Try some on see how they look and feel. You do not have to buy anything at the time you are there wear a product home and see how it feels through out the day. Sephora has a money back policy if you don't like the product you can return it. So if you do buy one and find it does not work for you after using it for a few days return it to the store. Sometimes you can find the same product they sell somewhere else but Sephora's has some pretty good deals. The money back policy might help to convince your Mom. Best of luck finding the right one for you.

A facial peel can help with uneven skin tone. There are similiar products on the market that are a lot cheaper than Bare Minerals and have the exact same ingredients.
Also, I don't know if they have a satisfaction guarantee where you can get a refund, but most drugstores will refund your money if you don't like the make-up and have already used some of it. So you may want to try a less expensive easier to return version and try it out.

I have bare minerals and I love it!! It really helps with my under eye circles and it covers up anything. The only problem with it is that it only works if you use it correctly. If your gonna try it make sure you go to a place where they can teach you how to use it; like a bare essentials store where they have the makeup out and ready for you to try because it's an expensive product and you don't want to buy something that isn't going to work for you

Everyone that i know that has bare minerals loves it. It gives you such a natural beauty look. And instead of the foundation or concealer giving you a dull look, it actually makes your skin look healthy with a glow. I know many ppl that have it and actually tried it myself. I have a tone that is hard to match. So i recommend bare minerals to all.

Some people it works for & some people it doesn't. It got too shiny for me & I mostly have dry skin except in my t-zone. So I would say go to Ulta & try it, or get it from QVC where you have a 30 day money back guarantee. Today I believe they're having a special deal on Bare Escentuals. At least that way you could try it. I really wanted it to work for me, but I do know people that wear it & it looks great.

I am very much a minimalist when it comes to make up. Just too lazy I guess. I have Bare Minerals and I like it a lot--just don't use it often. I also mix it up with Models Prefer and Smashbox on those rare occasions that I actually do a lot of make-up.

I think it should work. Start with the foundation, and if you like how it looks, get the Multi-Tasking minerals. It's best to start with something basic.
Good Luck!
