It's some type of phishing scam or someone looking for valid e-mail addresses to spam. It's nonsense. Delete and ignore it.

are you kidding me?
First off.... no girl named katu lata kulu came over from Africa to America in 1945. No girl by that name or any other was murdered through the cutting of the word latualatuka into her back.
And dead people stealing other peoples' souls?
It's a hoax. Total ridiculousness if you ask me. How could she know who does or doesn't forward a particular message?
Can it. Trash it. Laugh hysterically and then delete it.

Ignore it! Hundreds of chain letters are posted around the internet like this one. There was no girl named Kata Lata Kulu who came to America in a grey boat. She was not killed by a mysterious man who cut LATUALATUKA into her back. Nothing's going to happen if you don't do what it says. Promise.
Your pen pal probably sent that to you because she's insecure and scared. A lot of people are like that and don't realize it.

This same question was asked a month or so ago - It was started by "meat lao"on the "funny chain mail" site (sg.forums.com). You missed out on the red eyes staring at you til you fell asleep bit! Anyway, it is just a chain mail letter - started off that you had to send it to 99 people but at least it's gone to 3! Sleep well my friend - KATA LATA KULU is just a nothing in cyberspace! :-}

Only do one thing. Delete the email. When people die, murdered or otherwise, they do not come back ever (that is objective reality), except in fiction books and movies (which is fantasy). You need to separate in your mind between fact and fantasy. People believed the world was flat for a long time. Believing it did not make it true. Objective reality showed us that the earth was round. Movies and books show us what is make believe. It is fun to watch Batman or V, for example, but even when I enjoy the movie I know it is not true in real life. It is merely entertainment. I never lose the distinction between fact and fantasy. Sounds like that line between fact and fantasy has been blurred in your mind. That leads to all kinds of silly and harmful superstitions. Just stick to the facts ma'am and don't fall for fantasy pretending to be fact.

IGNORE IT! Someone is trying to scare you. They got this message and followed the directions, that is why you got it. If you send it to three other people, you are just going to scare them. TRUST me, nothing is going to happen to you if you ignore it.
