How to reset central locking on Ford Mondeo 97?

I have looked at some websites, but all tell you to turn key to position 1, until LED on dash lights up etc etc. My car does not have LED light on dash. Can anyone tell me another way of resetting the remote? TA

take it to the dealer they should help you at no charge if there deacent
