That you are being paid incommensurately and the pay package does not seem to compensate you fully for the work done. However, there seem to be two aspects about your job and the organization you are working for. One, all others are doing the same and this seems to be the practice of this firm. Two, management seems to believe that doing full time work may hone up your skills and capabilities even if you are paid like a part-time employee. In other words, management has a conviction that the opportunity to improve and succeed is a perquisite and has to be judged accordingly.
If you find this benefit coming your way while working in the company, you may stay and create a successful profile for yourselves at work. You may get another promotion and your level of satisfaction may rise as well. However, nothing bars your quest for another and distinctly better job opportunity!

I'd make a list of Pro's and Con's and see which has more items on it. I'd also have a talk with the boss and explain the situation to him/her. But I'd probably talk to the other employees first, and explain that their actions are having a negative effect on you. And what kind of "promotion" has you being paid for parttime, when you work fulltime? Do you see yourself with the company in 5-10 yrs? What ever you decide, have another job lined up before you quit, because it is easier to get a job when you have one already. Good Luck!!

sound like i am taking advantage of you
talk to your boss see if he will give you full time
explain things like you did here if he says no tell him you are giving written notice and you will leave in 2 weeks
and had him a letter stating the reasons why you are going to leave
our grand fathers and great grandfathers went thru a similar thing and they formed Unions but it seems nowadays the young ones dont want to lose money to a unuion
example i worked for a union shop in 86 left and went back in the same business in 97 making less than in 86 someone tell me why

Sounds to me like this company is taking advantage of you. If you are getting paid part time hours, but actually working full time hours, then how is that of ANY beneifit to you?

Start looking for a new job, there is nothing more frustrating that being unhappy with a job- after all we spend many hours a day there. I would say don't quit just yet, but start looking. Good luck!

I would quit. Sounds like you are being taken advantage of. If you feel the company owes you money for hours worked, consider speaking to a lawyer to help you recover your back pay.

I would recommend start looking elsewhere. But at the same time bring up your concerns to your manager. Try to negotiate a fair increase. It does not hurt to ask but when you do, you will need to provide enough justification for the increase.
If nothing transpires, at least you will have something lined up.

I think you need to talk to your boss and be honest and tell him how you feel, if you don't say anything he thinks that what's going on is ok for you, so you need to tell him. If he fires you you'll probably get a better job anyway!!
