Second-hand items aren't the problem. The seller fees eBay charges are the problem. Did you know that any feature upgrades made are charged a fee, even if you remove the feature before any bids are made? If you change your listing features again, you're charged again.....and it just builds and builds. I've been a victim of fraudulent buyers bidding on an item at the very last minute, not paying for them, and eBay still charging me the fees (instead of punishing the fake buyers, which could have been "ghost accounts" controlled by eBay for all I know). This happened to me with 3 items. I made no money but I had to pay eBay over $100. The problem is they cater to the buyer and don't care about their sellers. I'm sticking with Amazon for all of my sales.

That only true in some instances. it's a bit like XP and vista. XP is old but very useful while people are jumping for the new vista which has turned out to be a load of junk and probably will be for many months to come, with the time it takes microsoft to sort anything out.
whats the moral of the story. just cause it's new doesn't mean it's better.

I have use e-Bay for 7 years by now.
It is a good and trusted place to buy and sell. I have more than 80 transactions so far and no bad experience.
But pease, do not believe those get rich quick through e-Bay stories. There is probably no such thing

in my opinion it's got to big now. I've used it for over five years as both a buyer and seller and have got more disillusioned as time goes bye. there a hardcore of reliable members but the increase in scam sellers is making the site more of a minefield! i personally am leaning towards newer sites now, amazon is my opinion on of the better ones. also search the web for sites local to your area. HAPPY HUNTING!!!!!

Very rarely use it now. I use Amazon instead...Much better for things like CD's and DVD's. Got some great bargains and not ripped off with postage.
