Good chance they will. All they have to do is win the AFC Championship, which is a good possibility. The NFC will still be far behind the AFC, so the NFC representative in the Super Bowl will probably be swept aside again.

Odds are against it.
About every ten years or so teams repeat. The Patriots used up that.
But there are exceptions. The Dolphins repeat was followed quickly by the Steelers.
But think about it this way. 42 Super Bowls and the repeating (consecutively) teams were Packers, Dolphins, Steelers, Steelers, 49ers, Cowboys, Patriots. 7 divided by 42 is 0.1667
The Colts have a 17% chance of repeating.
Of course that is better than every other team's 0% chance.:)
Oh, also keep in mind the are just $2.5 million under the cap and several competetive teams are in better cap shape.
Word is Payton will restructure, saving the Colts $8 million on the cap. However Freeney is looking for a big payday and most of that extra million may be gone.
Although Dungy will likely stay, expect the Free Agents to demand more as Super Bowl champions on the open market. The Colts may have a defensive talent drain.

Dungy is staying in Indy, they can afford Peytn Manning, and for some people on here there is room for repeat champions. New England has won how may titles in the past 5 years 3 I think 2 of them back to back. Dynasties happen and I think that the next 4-5 superbowls will belong to Indy or NE. Colts win the title again next year, and maybe the year after that. Colts now have the confidence they needed to close out the games they use to lose, and the NFL should be afraid. This isnt like the Steelers fluke win, or the Rams fluke win this team is for real and will repeat.

No!
This is an age of parity. Don't forget that although everbody is basking in the glow of a Superbowl victory, the colts had lost games to:
1. The Houston Texans
2. The Tennessee Titans (should have been twice)
3. The Jacksonville Jaguars
4. The Dallas Cowboys
Only 1 was a Playoff Team.
Congratualtion are in order, but to start thinking they'd do it again is to ignore the fact that they could easily lose.
THE TEXANS KICKED THIER AZZ!

anything can happen, depending on who they lose and who they add, if they don't lose any key guyz and they add some more skill and bulk up the middle of there line they have a good chance might say they have a tuff conference, sure they do but there were the best of the best this year, stats mean nothing once the season is over, all that matters is that they were on top, and they will go into next year as the top team and i doubt Peyton is going any were they can afford him no matter what, I'm sure he will want to end his career in indy and will take a lil bit of a cut to do so

I really don't believe the Colts could repeat. They're in too good of a conference when they had a miracle to just get into the Super Bowl this season.

No...the team that won the Super Bowl the year before will win. Now that Big Ben will finally have an offensive coordinator that will give him the right mix of power and spread offense...And a head coach that will mix in some new coverage schemes to go behind that zone blitz.

No. One simple reason....San Diego Chargers! :-D
The players and coaches might like the idea but none of them would say it out loud. There is just too much parity in the league with free agency and salary caps.
As far as affording Manning...they can not afford to let him go, even at the end of his contract.

No. Too much parity in the NFL for repeats and dynasties these days.
