I think I started using it around 1997 too, with a 14.4k modem. The old days, when we measured downloads in days, not seconds!

I only went online last year, in September. I felt I could manage without a computer, but then when I found I had queries & the people I was dealing with kept asking if I was online, I got fed up of saying no, & bought a computer. It IS easier than going to a library, or renting a few hours in an internet cafe, cos you don't have to go out.

Oh, I have you beat. I started using it a year ago. And I was so overwhelmed! Now I just shoot through the darned thing. I'm 56. Old dogs do learn new tricks.
