At year 0 the cost is 2000, and at year 4 the cost is 0, so we've 2 factors (0, 2000) and (4, 0) slope formula m = (2000-0)/(0-4) = -500 element slope sort y = -500(x-0) + 2000 y = 2000 - 500x
