I would think that a person who wears a lot of silver jewellry would be a moon person - that is the moon would feature strongly in their astrological chart (whether they realise it or not) as silver is the metal connected with the moon. They would be attracted to it, and feel better for wearing it, it would blend with their own energy really well.
It's also great protection against negative energy.

I didn't know there were any other reasons for a person wearing silver, other than they like it. But, for some reason, I only wear silver rings and bangles on my left hand, and gold on my right. Interesting question and I'll be interested to see the answers.Maybe there is a reason why I only wear silver on the left, and I either don't know about it, or it's one of those long-forgotten facts I picked up along the way

Some people just like jewelry and prefer silver over gold because it is so much less expensive and they are less likely to get mugged for silver. Myths are myths, so anyone that wears weird stuff like silver or copper bracelets or rabbits feet are just not logically thinking. It is the caveman genetics showing through. Some of us have suppressed them and enjoy life without trying to justify every damn thing based on some religion or myth or concept.

Well, as a person who wears a lot of silver jewellery I can tell you that I NEVER thought of it as being either a belief system or spiritual growth.
I wear my silver jewellery simply because I like it. It's pretty. And it doesn't cost as much as gold, so I can end up buying more of it. When I am relaxing (and this means not working) I wear one of my silver rings on each of my fingers. Again...just because I like the look of them. I have serpents and fairies and frogs and cats and unicorns and a whole group of geometric designs and old celtic designs.

I wear alot of silver jewellery... Big Chunky pieces, I wear them for protection, healing and strength...
It's not so much the actual silver, it's more the stones.. Every stone has a different purpose, I change mine according to how I feel...

They can't afford real gold fine jewelry. This would apply to adults since teens cannot usually afford fine jewelry.
