Ha Ha Ha. What a question. How about asking why there are absolutely no hair on their bodies? Real athletes shave/wax it to perform better, if you see in some major sports. But I say they shave it coz they want to show those 6-packs of theirs. (And besides to be headlocked with full of armpit hair, don't you think its disgusting)

Most of them shave it for better looks and hygiene.
It is mostly for the fans, would you like to be watching a match and see an armpit of hair blowing in the wind.
Plus if you are an opponent of theirs in a head lock would you want your face in a hairy armpit.

Because thye get it waxed to make them look better. SHows the bodys off more when thet put oil on them.
