It seemed like last season everyone was afraid to fight but it seems like this season fighting is picking up alittle what do you think?

I think it might be a case where last year the players didn't want to fight because of the new rule systems in place and the possible reprocutions of fighting. But by now the players and officials have adjusted to the rules and with the playoff pictures in sight, the aggression is increasing.

This seems like a weird question since just the other day someone asked if fightng was on a decline in the NHL. In my opinion the number of fights is staying pretty steady the last couple of seasons. I haven't seen as many as I would like to sometimes, but there have been just enough to remind me that I am, in fact, watching hockey.

Oh yeah here it is fighting in the NHL, I read somewhere that Anaheim lead the lague in fighting majors with like 52, and the next closest was 16, so maybe it is down for some teams and up for others who knows.

i wouldn't agree with that!i went to a game the other night and only saw 2 fights...i was like wtf..where have all of the tuff dudes gone.it was sickening..almost like figure skating with out all the drama
