No, you can't be the banker. You're always the contestant, but its lots of fun! you should buy it. There are also two other versions of deal or no deal to play in stores. one on an electronic board and one that invovlves a lot of cards and paper.

You can be the banker if you buy the board game by Pressman but if you have the art skills you would be better off making your own game from scratch.

I have the game and love it. You can't be the banker but it is fun to imagine winning a million dollars!!!!
