I just got a sony dvd burner on ebay and I plugged everything in. It came with a installation cd but It has so many files so I don't know which one to install. these are the files on the cd. PCI to USB 2.0 4+1, 3s, alcor, ALi, bluetooth, cmd, cmedia, Davicom, FreeDik, Genesys, ITE, KTC, MosChip, myson, nec, Neodio, VIA, NetMOS, Phison, Prolific, Realtek, Sigmatel, Silicon_Image.

You ought to have an option for quick install, (typical) use that. Also go to the Sony web site and read about your product. There is also a Read Me HTML File installed on the Driver, (CD) read that. It is going to install what you need automatically cause you are going to need all the Drivers and such to operate it.

Can't you just autorun the disc and let it install itself? Otherwise, try looking for an install.exe.
