I was born on February 14th, 38 (egads) years ago. Do I really have to celebrate Valentine's? If you were involved with a Valentine man, would you make him go out of his way to do so?

I know I sound selfish....I really do!

I am a Valentines baby as well. I enjoy celebrating it but then again I am the mushy type. :)
I would say it would be nice to at least get something or do something special for your significant other but since it's your birthday you should get to be surprised too.
Some years I celebrate my birthday the weekend after and just Valentines on the actual Valentines day.
Last thing...If you have a significant other that is truely not really into the day (obviously this requires her being honest about it so she doesn't throw it in your face later) I would say no.
Save it for sweetest day or just surprise her other days than focusing on Valentines Day.
Hope this helps and Happy Birthday!

Well you should get a b-day present plus whetever she gets you for Valentine's. Then of course you should get her something nice for the holiday....but if you don't want to go all out on romance, you both could stay at home for your birthday. If you are with someone and are really in love, you don't have to celebrate it when everyone else does....you can do it any time. Tell her that.

I was born on Valentines Day as well, although I am a girl, but yes I would expect my boyfriend to do a little somthing. It is still a holiday and your girl does deserve some love.

I would celebrate it together, as a joint thing.
As long as I'm (the girl) acknowledged on Valentine's Day, I'm happy.
Let me ask you this: Would you stop giving holiday gifts if your birthday landed on the holiday?
