we're going to orlando mid june, when do the schools break up is it near that time?

This year the Orange County public schools get out on May 22 (that's a Tuesday), all the other schools in FL are right around the same time give or take a week.
By mid June yes all FL schools will be out, but most (not all) FL families don't visit Disney this time of year, they go vacation other places outside the tourist areas.

Public schools and many colleges in Florida finish for the year at the end of May, so the local crowds will already be off and there before you arrive. The rest of the country pretty much get out the end of June so it wont be as bad as July and August which are extremely busy, try to avoid those months and thats when the heat is at it worst anyway.
