I do not fear feminists. Women have a right to be treated equally. But so do men. Noone is better than anyone. We are all the same. There is no kind of feeling you can have that hasn't been felt by someone earlier.

So why can't we all just get along?

I can say, truthfully, that fear is the farthest thing I could feel for 'feminists'. Their 'movement' is in no way changing or shaping the world. I am a female who loves being just that. I am well aware that I am 'equal' to men in the ways that matter, and different in the other ways that matter. I don't need to blow my horn and sound the gongs to get attention...I let my intelligence and talent do that for me. I don't expect special treatment, and certainly don't believe that I am entitled to the things that MEN have worked so hard to build...throughout man's history. If I want something that is not available to me as a woman (ie. membership at a men's only golf club), I do not whine and moan and protest...I would simply work to build my own...and make it ladies only, if I wish.

Instead of trying to establish their rightful place in this world by bullying and talking of entitlement, why don't feminists prove that they deserve the things they desire...by working for them.

I respect them. I believe women should have equal rights to men, but I'm not a feminist, I can't be bothered.

I'm bleedin terrified luv, specially of dear old Germs Greer. But then, like all men, I'm afraid of women. "A woman is afraid of a mouse, a mouse is afraid of a man and a man is afraid of a woman, and thus we get the eternal triangle." Vivian Foster, "The Vicar of Mirth" recorded on 80rpm disk sometime in the 1930s.
