Well, it all started out 3 years ago when me and my brother were jumping off of swings. Yeah I know pretty dumb. But I did it and landed on the side of my foot and colapsed. Well, I couldn't walk on it for like... a week. In total it hurt for 1 year. I was in a different country and/or contenent and didn't go to the doctor. Pretty dumb also. Well, after that it hurt whenever I just hurt it alittle it would hurt a lot. I'm going to the doctor but I have 2 wait for my mom to get back from a trip. What does it sound like 2 u? do u think the doctor will splint it? Phisical tharapy? Surgery?
Also what can I do right now 2 stabalize it till she comes back? I have a brace thing and ace wrap should I use that? I can see now that rest wont help because this injury was 3 years ago....

That is a hard question. You don't mention things being mis-shapen, so I am guessing you can't see any difference between that ankle and the other one. You must have broken one of the small bones in the ankle (I think there are 11 ) and it will probably take surgery to re-align things as best they can be, and fuse what needs to be to stabilize the problem. You likely will walk with a slight limp the rest of your life, though you will probably be able to compensate with practice. That is my best guess. It might be less serious, but it it bothered you for a full year, and still hasn't really stabilized, it sounds serious. If the ace bandage or brace feel good, I guess that would be all right to wear them until you can get a professional opinion.

Elevate and ice the foot. If you've been doing this for three years after the initial injury, it's probably not serious but just sore.
However, whenever you get hurt like this, it's always bet to get an exam and x-ray to rule out a break, small fracture or dislocation.
I fell down the stairs and I thought I sprained my foot;however, I broke it in several places.

put some ice on it and keep it elevated. Try taking some tylenol or some aleve for pain. U might have messed up something in the foot that needs a little surgery to repair or maybe some therapy. U will just really have to wait until u see the doctor.

properly think ofyou've got basically neglected a era once you've been workout or there has been a substitute in you existence form. Like in case you moved or some thing like that. besides the undeniable fact that, if each and each and every of the checks say that you're negitive...you possibly are. besides the undeniable fact that, i'd bypass to a gyno to substantiate. it may well be some thing else except you being pregnant and no matter if it is a few thing else it might properly be worse than being pregnant. So if i grow to be you, i'd play it secure and basically bypass to the gyno or planned Parenthood.

stress fracture..painful and yet not broken
go and get an ex ray..stay off of your injured foot as much as possible.
i got mine on a treadmill and i could hardly walk the next day.
see a podiatrist or a MD at least to get an ex ray

hmm i hurt my ankle back in 1997, still hurts at times 10 years later. ive worn braces, tried magnets, etc. i went to the doctors a week after it happened. xray showed no breaks. more than likely its a high ankle sprain. hope yours turns out better than mine.
