YES. DOESNT MATTER IF ITS FOR MCDONALDS, YOU STILL WEAR A SUIT.

Alot of people are right here, first impressions are very important. You always go in dressed to impress. Always take a pen, turn off your phone/beeper, a piece of paper/sticky pad, business cards(if you have any), and a resume. Doesnt matter if the resume includes only your name and address, you still take one. One that has Career goals, short term/long term, financial goals i.e: Buy new car. And at least 3 references.

With this you will make a good impression. even if its McDonalds you do this.ALWAYS!!!

Yes, always wear a suit. Also try and avoid too much black. gray or navy or something is good. Don't ever wear red, it has been proven in some studies that red puts people off at interviews.

Wearing a suit would be over dressed, but some nice slacks and conservative blouse would be appropriate.

If at all possible try using winter colors which are more conservative, such as; navy blue slacks or skirt and white top. Winter colors are blues, blacks, dark colors.
