Why do so many people hate anyone that is different?

Why can we all not just live peacefully and not want to harm each other.
Just because someone was not born in the uk , does this mean they are not able to be treated as a human being.
The Human Rights Act states that we are all equal and should be treated equal!
Why if someone is black,asian or muslim does this make them a target? Even white people are targeted . Has the world gone mad!!!!!

There are a number of reasons for hatred and resentment of the foreigner.
1. Overcrowding. The South of England is over populated, counryside is built upon, roads are congested and property inflation has pushed house ownership beyond many people.

2. Financial Cost.
a. Those who do not contribute to society have to be funded by mainly indigenous working people.
b. Even those that do work still get the benefit of years of accumulated capital within this country. Taxation revenue from an immigrant family on average income makes only a small dent in the cost of resources they consume.

3. Loss of Culture. We see our culture being displaced by foreign alternatives that is often irrelevant and sometimes barely worth the name. Maya Angelou, Anita Desai, Benjamin Zephaniah and Meera Syal have displaced Trollop, Yates and Conrad from school reading lists.

4. Loss of freedom. Laws have been continually introduced since WW2 in order to accommodate and protect aliens. For many years, these took the form of restrictions on freedom of speech but recently exemptions from this country's laws have been granted to foreigners whose countries of origin are often the most intolerant on earth.

5. The Human Rights Act does not alter what people are. While the Asian Hindu and Sikh communities have moral and ethical values in common with the better aspects of Western Society, no legislation will make other racial groups with propensities to crime, laziness and intrusive vulgarity a part of the United Kingdom.

society and it institution are primarily responsible for the way many people think an behave in their relationship to groups of different nationalities, colors and religions. Example: The Chinese government do not trust the west because of the opium war! I could list a variety of reason why there is a lack of trust between nation. But the point here I am trying to make is that you as an Individual can make a choice not to follow the main stream mentality. But it is now easy to do. You will be an outsider.

Lack of education thats why the world is like it is. In europe you may not have a race problem but in the U.S. both black and whites have a huge problem all because they cant forget the past of slavery and segregation and move on. So they start pointing fingers and blaming each other on why their world is the way i is today. Its hard to point the finger at themselves and say what can I do to mend relations with my fellow man?

People cant see past the end of there own noses all of us think that we are the ideal and we are right and the model human being, who is to say what is normal or right??? who makes that judgement or decsion, we might all be different colours, shapes sizes etc etc but we ALL have 1 thing in common we are ALL human for goodness sakes!!

I agree,Every one aught to be treated with love and respect,but some people see others as odd or a bad race or religion or the wrong sexual type{gaY OR STRAIGHT}.i THINK IT IS PART LY DO TO NOT KNOWING that different kind of person.They think all kinds of negative thoughts without giving them a chance.Maybe also they think it makes them feel superior to think that way.,but we are all equaLwE NEED TO REALISE WEARE ALL gODS CHILDREN And give each other love and understanding

sorry to type this but, that will proble never happen. people will be prejudge untill they die. there must be something in every single mind, about pre-judging, and that can't ever change.
