Don't step on cracks, no umbrellas open in the house, no walking under ladders, and the like.
I'm terribly superstitious. What are some of yours?

Yes, very superstitious, here are some of mine;
No new shoes on a table, bad luck,
never have the sole of your shoe pointing up, lets the devil in,
spill salt then throw some over the right shoulder or bad luck,
see a penny pick it up, all that day you'll have good luck, as long as you pass it on to the first person you see,
always wear a new item of clothing on Chinese new year and you will have good luck all year long,
never let anyone with blond hair let your new year in or bad luck all year long,
never bring cherry blossom into the house in the month of May or bad luck with befall you all year,
eat a piece of your own wedding cake or the marriage is doomed,
cross a new babies palm with a silver coin for long life and good luck,
make a wish when you put your foot on the ground of a new country you visit, good luck,

My grandma was Italian and was obsessed with superstition and I think I get it from her, I try not to let them take over my life though.

Sometimes. I don't put umbrellas up in the house or walk under ladders. They're the only things.

Yes I am. My mum was Irish so I think that's where it comes from. If you didn't cancel something out the devil might come and get you or so she told us! I try not to be but it's so ingrained in me now that I do it without thinking most of the time. I won't walk under ladders because that's breaking the sacred triangle and that's the only one I actually believe in.

I don't like it, but I am superstitious. Don't put a hat on the bed. Don't take an old broom to a new house. Don't thank someone for a plant or it will die. But I have found that a black cat crossing my path is lucky for me, and so is Friday the 13th!

Very superstitious, writing's on the wall
Very superstitious, ladders bout' to fall
Thirteen month old baby, broke the lookin' glass
Seven years of bad luck, the good things in your past

When you believe in things that you don't understand
Then you suffer
Superstition ain't the way

Very superstitious, wash your face and hands
Rid me of the problem, do all that you can
Keep me in a daydream, keep me goin' strong
You don't wanna save me, sad is my song

When you believe in things that you don't understand
Then you suffer
Superstition ain't the way, yeh, yeh

Very superstitious, nothin' more to say
Very superstitious, the devil's on his way
Thirteen month old baby, broke the lookin' glass
Seven years of bad luck, good things in your past

When you believe in things that you don't understand
Then you suffer
Superstition ain't the way, no, no, no

Yes I am - and I know you'll find this weird - but I know Tues the 13th is fast approaching and I'd like to stay in bed that day - I always find it to be a bad luck day (but I love Fri the 13th)

Also would rather have a black cat cross my path over a white cat (the white ones always seem to bring me bad luck)

Breaking a mirror is supposed to give you seven years of bad luck. I own a black cat so I don't think crossing paths with them is bad luck. I did break two mirror by accident and then I did have bad luck for over seven years so that one is really the one I fear the most.

Not necessarily superstitious, but I do believe it's possible to tempt fate! That seems to happen quite frequently to me.
