I personaly, think there must be some sort of magnetism involved.

I am told that a similar effect exist directly opposite the burmuda triangle over near japan.
I believe it is caused by either very high magnetism, or almost no magnetism. Either would cause birds, planes, and other things that relied on the earth's magnetic fields to navigate by, to get disoriented and lost.
With no way to tell where they are, it is easy to lose track and go in circles, or even go in an entirely incorrect direction. The earth's magnetic fields, while imagined to be doughnut shape in form, may not be uniformly distributed in equal power amounts.
It is difficult to know whether this can be attributed to the core of the earth affecting the magnetic currents, or composition of certain areas, or the pull of the moon...,
But definitely, it is caused by extreme magnetism (or possibly, the lack of). You could not navigate in either of those conditions.
Florida? Weird that the hole is right in Florida, Kennedy space ship launches can burn 500 million gallons of gas.
Could they be making holes in the ozone? Is extra solar energy from the sun getting through and effecting that zone?

In some channelings it has been said that the Bermuda triangle is caused by a huge crystal that sunk to the Ocean floor when Atlantis was destroyed. The powerful crystal still emitted a great force which interrupted radio and other communications systems.
The channeling mentioned that in recent years the crystal has been deactivated and that is why we haven't had as many unexplained phenomena associated with it lately.
Does make you wonder, though....

Considering that i live close to the tip of the triangle on the actual rock of Bermuda, I would like to contribute my theory that the Bermuda Triangle is a large vortex of negativity...trust me on this one...I have had NOTHING but bad luck since I got here
