Yankees for sure
I know they are a good pick every year, but now theyre not completely an all star lineup. Instead of downgreading their defense by putting Giambi at first and another power hitter at DH, they went out and got a defensive specialist Doug Mientkiewicz to play first. They dealt Shef and Randy for prospects, and they got Andy Pettite, who was just a 'little' factor of their WS championships at the end of the 90's. Phillip Hughs could come up and dominate. I like our chances this year

all the answers so far have not even mentioned the champion cardinals ..........never count out a team with the most dangerous bat in baseball pujols. And yes the mets would probably be right up there as the team with the most potential or numbers based to make the run for the rings. my philosophy is they are the champs until someone takes it away so for me the ST LOUIS CARDINALS

Zito and Bonds (if he stays healthy enough to play a full season) will pull it off this year.

I wouldn't count out the NY Mets either.

Mets (win) runner up yankees because as good as the yankees are there third baseman will mot have a good season and the mets 3rd baseben Wright will i also think that the mets do have a better bullpen. they are als in the NL and it will be easyier for them to get to the
