Alot of things are playing a factor and could be the cause of your depression.
getting laid off from a job is one of the highest factors of depression.
no job= no livlyhood. you are worryed onhow to make your finances right now.
that sets off your sleep pattern, which in turn does not get you brain a chance to fully recover from the day before. you will find seeing a dr. for some depresson meds.
and sleep meds will be effective and help you look more on the positive side of things.
you will then feel more like looking for a job and having the confidence to do so !
take good care of your self! pamper yourself whenever possible! good luck !!!!!

Changes in lifestyles, such as losing a job, graduating, etc. can cause depression. The lack of familiarity or goals can make you feel lost and even the lack of a regular schedule can also affect people. One problem with depression is that it can cause a downward spiral because or brain activity, emotional shifts, and chemical balances. I honestly think that this isn't the best place to ask that question because we aren't the best people to answer it. You should see about talking to some kind of counselor

I am not happy and I don't know why except that I miss my state of Texas and my grown children that I don't see anymore much. I cry over everything. I have low self esteem. I seem everytime I turn around I am told I am not doing a good job at work and everyone thinks I am rude and I am not trying to be rude. I want to just be a great charge nurse. My husband yells at me a lot because he doesn't understand and he is miticulous about everything. Nothing makes me happy. I don't have any energy . I don't have any friends.

The remedy is very simple: GET ANOTHER JOB instead of moping around. The more you mope around the more depressed you'll get and the more hours you waste, the more you are wasting your life. Sorry, but this is the most obvious solution. Nothing personal. Just trying to help. If I don't tell you this you wouldn't try and do something. Hate me now for being a bit harsh (if this is what you think) but believe me, if you don't feel a threat, you will not do anything to save your life.

Because You understood at last that everything here is futile. And that you are nothing. And no one cares. And even if you are something, it's like an ant sitting on a top of an anthill. And they care only for what you have.
And it will never be better, just worse, and then you die. So, you are doing a sentence here. That is why you are depressed.

It is probably because you are angry at something - what someone did to you - but you do not consciously realize it at this time|
It is said that depression is anger turned inward - something that I think is true|
Just look for the cause of your anger, and then when you have identified it, you can deal with it with the proper therapy|

Only you can answer that question. Review your life and see what you do not like about it or what has happened to you and you will find the source of your depression.
