can u think of a more recent example of a country who has faced punishment, perhaps in the form of a boycott or trade embargo, from other countries?why was this put in place? what was the outcome?

Cuba has it right now and has had it since, at least the 1950's. They have trade restrictions and restrictions for tourists, etc. No U.S. citizens are allowed to enter their country, except for high ranking government officials.

I have heard that the ruler of Cuba was the one that put the travel/trade restrictions on due to his relationship with the U.S. I don't know how true this is. Look up these countries on Google.
