Have you been in a store or out somewhere, you hear "MOM" and turn to your child and say "What"?. This happened all the time to me when my children were younger. My kids got a kick out of it.

That still happens to my mom till this day and I'm her only daughter and I'm 18, so I think it is hilarious when she thinks I called her name in a 8-year-old little girls voice!

Of course, but what I remember more is the times that they said "Mom", and I didn't notice, they'd say it again, and finally in frustration, they would say "SUE!" When I turned around, we'd get tickled at that.

I still always do that. Whenever I hear someone say mom, I turn to see what they want, its not even my kid. LOL I think it is habit!
