I think the most for me was around 40 or so.

anything over 30 is good. it always amazes me when when a question has 3 pages of answers (or more)

No but I've had a smorgasbord of answers once.

From the Word of the Day Archive Friday September 24, 1999 -

copious \KOH-pee-uhs\, adjective:
1. Affording an abundant supply; plentifully furnished; lavish.
2. Large in quantity; plentiful, profuse; abundant.
3. Full of information or matter.

[Aside: Hmmm, that last one is interesting, eh?]

I would therefore consider 100 to be a copious amount, 30 odds is your standard Polls and Surveys crew. Of course even 100 answers pails into insignificance when compared to the true gods of asking such as Oprah and our Indian friend.

I am the answerer of unanswered questions so consider it lucky I chose to stop by here.
