Probably.
Despite being viciously attacked on 9/11, the USA is still more concerned with world opinion than basic self-defence.
Moreover, there is an entire fifth column of traitors, that call themselves an anti-war movement, led by scum like Susan Sarandon and Cindy Sheehan, who are more concerned with civilian casualties in terrorist countries, than taking care of the orphans from the World Trade Center.

I'm stunned at how many morons have responded with this bullsh*t that 9/11 was an inside job.

I hope not. Sure there are a lot of stupid characters out there who spout foolishness from their mouths, just because they have a microphone in front of them. Easy to say we care about people afar off and ignore the plight near to us. That way we can convince ourselves that we are good people. Pure hypocritical BS. In the real deal they will melt into catatonic shock while the rest of us have to deal with it. Hope it doesn't happen, but I wouldn't bet on it. That would be terrible, because it will be far worse. The U.S. is really vulnerable despite the Draconian Patriot Act and Homeland Security, which is an affront to the Constitution and Bill of Rights and traditional jurisprudence, and does nothing to stop real terrorism.

That is anyone guess. It still boggles the minds of many that the U.S. had intelligence of an impending attack and didn't share info within the governmental agencoies to preevent it. This says a lot about the true color of our government, and their effectiveness.

Yes - and you're right. The US is still far more concerned with it's image then with actually defending itself.

The media, showing the dissent in the nation everyday on the 24 hour news isn't helping us at all either. It shows us as a divided nation, one that isn't quite sure of what to do. One that is weak.

If America actually rallied and supported itself, then and only then will we get anywhere. If our enemies smell blood in the water they will keep on attacking.

Correction: Only the Dimocrats are concerned with world opinion. As far as the antiwar movement is concerned, even the Democrats are trying to keep a safe distance from them now that they have a majority.

The problem with the Democrats is they think ist will stop trying to kill us if we just be nice and not invade their ist outposts. In other words, they haven't learned the lessons of 9/11.
