Seed packets usually list suggested time frames for starting indoors - usually 2 to 4 weeks before last frost. Outdoors, after threat of frost. I'm in SC too, Have started some seeds inside, will be starting more at the end of the month. End of March will be directly sowing outdoors in the garden. Good luck.
