This is a hopeless situation for the following reasons:
1) She is your teacher
2) It would be inappropriate as she is in a position of trust, even if she did fancy you
3) She is nearly twice your age
4) She is married

You need to accept this is a fairly common adololescent fantasy and look for a girl closer to your own age.

She's your teacher!!!!!! And she's married!!!!!!!!! Have you ever thought that you might only like her because it's taboo and she belongs to someone else? It's wrong and you don't want to get her fired or be the reason to break up a marriage. You're not thinking straight. Plus, you cannot "get" someone to love you. Aren't you worth more than that? Take a closer look at the person you want to be. You're defined by the decisions you make. Gravitate towards living a life of principles.

Wait about four years, come back all grown up and buff and drop by to say " hello, remember me? I had the hugest crush back then you were my favorite teacher..." or whatever then. Right now I wouldn't advise it, because "if" she turns you down you are going to be embarrassed for the rest of the time at that school. More than likely she would tell the other teachers she interacts with and they'd know too. You don't want to be know as "the kid who has a crush on miss whoever".

In highschool I loved one of my science teachers. He was tall and funny and handsome but married with two daughters. One day I told him and I have always regretted it.

My advice to you is to not say anything and to just stick it out. I'm afraid that this will be unrequited love my friend. You need to keep two things firmly in mind: 1) She's a professional who would jeopardize her career and basically her entire life up to this point to be anything more to you. 2) She's married and she'd be throwing her marriage away to get mixed up with a student.

If you do say something, more than likely you'll just feel embarassed. Bask in this feeling that you've got now but don't say anything to her. It'll probably go away in time. If it doesn't and after you've graduated you still feel like she's the one for you make friends with her as an equal and see where it goes from there.

I'm sorry, because I know how it feels. But best of luck to you!

It's a crush. She's married with kids, she already has what she was looking for. I would not advise asking her out unless you like getting shot down. And when you're her age she'll be pushing 50.
But who knows, the hot teacher/ young student seems to be a hot thing now. Just get ready for your CNN cameo.

Put your heart somewhere else. Teachers go to jail for having affairs with students. You are misreading her thoughts. She is your english TEACHER. Leave it at that or you will be causing yourself more problems than you can handle. Find someone your own age for Gods sake. Good luck

Well this is normal for you to like a teacher. There is always a crush and I think that you are taking this a little overboard. Please think about this and know that a teacher can loose there job over a crush like this. You don't want you favorite teacher to loose her job over your crush right. She is to old for you and you should know that. You don't have to go for females that are your age but look for one that is closer to your mind set. Thank you!

Yeah, tell her... Cos it won't be going anywhere, but at least she'll know why you can't concentrate in class...
