We have people here that need financial, medical, housing, education. Im sick and tired of hearing about how much money is being allocated to iraq, afghanistan, philipines etc. How about katrina victims? How about the child in west virginia with no shoes? Americans deserve to be the first to be helped! I really think we need to totally empty the house of represenatives and senate. Start over with elections. Get some real Americans in there and not people who want larger planes!

It's because the Skull & Bones has intended for the US to be the World's police. They don't care about their own.

Oh come on you know the answer to that!

THERE IS NO OIL IN NEW ORLEANS

Regarding the handouts to other countries, I also find it difficult to deal with. But it is an International agreement that a percentage of the GDP must be spent in helping countries in need or disaster outside the USA. Now due to the expenditure in Iraq the US contribution to the Tsunami was less than that given by Australia. Which says the the reserves for aid is or was cash strapped.

The New Orleand fiasco was an embarrassment, but as it is mainly Black majrtity it takes a low priority.

Secondly it took some time for the media to make the degree of the disaaster public. Can't see the point of rebuilding N.O. on the same site. Better to move it to higher ground so it don't happen again. Next election boot the present creeps out of office.

I agree. We should not be bombarded with advertisements about giving our money and resources away to foreign countries when we have real problems here. Our government should also stop trying to buy everyone's support with donations to war torn and drug infested countries. And the next celebrity who gives millions of dollars to a foreign country or adopts a child from another country should be boycotted.

I don't think people realize that not only does this represent futility on our part as most of this money gets used by the war lords and drug cartels before it ever reaches the actual needy, it also makes our own citizens seem second rate to foreigners. Our children should grow knowing that they have the full support of our nation.

As for starting elections over, that would only produce the same type of rich, spoiled candidates. The election process should be reworked so that each candidate gets the same amount of money. Large corporations and special interest groups should not be allowed to donate large sums of money.

even as i do not prefer to seem heartless right here, i do not see how the range of foreclosure pertains to homeless human beings. the conception is that the end results of those foreclosure became homelessness. this won't be the case. the reason foreclosure are up is because many those who couldn't have the funds for residences or had unfavorable credit ratings were approved by technique of banks searching to apply low charges and a booming housing market. the area is: in case you get a house loan with a variable cost and costs flow up . . . hastily, you won't be able to have the funds for your position. although the money those human beings spent on their month-to-month loan isn't lengthy gone. they are not jobless. they in basic terms ought to flow back into residences. As for homelessness, definite, the U.S. should be doing something to shield those who're both unable to artwork or unemployable. Now, i'd like to carry close the position you receive your information; although, i have heard and skim similar numbers, so i'm in contract with you that money desires to be spent to assist those persons. regrettably, there are countless complications interior the way of fixing homelessness in united statesa.. there's a stigma adversarial to psychological ailment. Many see the homeless as "lazy." quite everyone seems selfish. ideas to looking homes and jobs for the homeless remains not precisely a possibility. it really is a small sampling of the hindrances. also, the homeless are invisible to maximum. in the experience that they not often see the homeless, they don't ought to agonize about it. Out of sight, out of innovations. 2 billion a week can make a huge large difference, even though it does not remedy something. although, it may lead us to a conceivable answer. EDIT: animator . . . so, then what became the point of putting that interior the question?

I agree and I have voiced my opinion on this, but it seems like if falls on deaf ears. No one can explain to me why it took three days to get help to our own in New Orleans after Katrina, but it took less than 12 hours to get help to the victims of the earthquake in Afghanistan.

That is just wrong.

This is the land of opportunity..everyone has the ability to make it big. Why should we help each other? If we all become socially equal what would be the driving force to work harder. There would be no one to look down on and think we are better. Whites must hate Blacks and Whites and Blacks must hate Koreans who must hate Whites and Blacks.and don't forget Women must be kept below the standards of males. Oh yea your question....lets just start by insuring children in America have a meal to each each day.

Is it the responsibility of the government to give the child what he/she needs, or is it the parents responsibility. Is it the government's responsibility to make sure a person has health insurance, or is it that person (assuming they are an ).

It is the responsibility of the government to eliminate the threats that exist from abroad. It seems to me that you have not learned the lessons from 9/11. If you will not learn from the past, you will be doomed to repeat them. President Bush is committed to not letting that happen again. Are you?

i wont mention any specific group. but, most people project. they would rather find the evil/negative in others and try to change them, instead of finding the negative in themselves and changing their own selves.
this of course works in a grander scale.

notice how a person will find fault in you, and try to change you but god forbid they look at themselves and notice that same fault or even worse ? it's called denial and americans are in denial. its costing us trillions.
