There are still Dodgers fans in Brooklyn. But most saw the move as a betrayal, just as did baseball fans in Montreal when the Expos were moves, just as have the fans of any franchise that has been moved.

Do you mean if their fanbase got bigger or smaller?
I think they got a bigger fanbase when they moved to LA. You can look at their attendance while in LA and compare it to when they were in Brooklyn if that helps.

Well, according to my then wife (now deceased, rest her soul) and her dad, they were FURIOUS and never forgave them. Most became Mets fans later (her dad included)
