Pffft. Several times! I don't like people who invite themselves without confirming with me first!

Yes, when I get a day off I want to be just with myself.

Luckily I live in the country with a long driveway and a padlock on the gate. Is that antisocial or what? lol

Of course I have. Sometimes I don't want to see anyone for awhile and I go into hiding, no phone calls no answering the door. It's kinda cool.

no, that would be rude and southern hospitality deems that guests are to be treated with respect and kindness. in the south we visit, that is to drop by unannounced, i wouldn't ever dream of calling to see if it's convenient and even if i don't have enough to go around the unexpected company will be fed!

Yup...just like I only answer the phone when I feel like it. The way I see it, it is there for MY convenience, not anyone else's. I know...I'm an *** sometimes, but hey.....!
