I say Rocky III Because of Eye of the tiger and the ending...but thats just my opinion.

The original was the best. I mean, it was a fresh twist on an old story. When he ran up t hose stairs in Philadelphia with the music roaring, who didn't feel the excitement? And despite him being this gritty fighter and it being about him going "mano to mano" with this other fighter, it was also a sweet love story. The mousy Adrian being transformed and actually looking cute at the end, him bellowing for her as he stands there bleeding!

The original, definitely.

I like the original Rocky, because the "Yo Adrienne" is so fresh.
Also when Rocky and Adrienne were dating it was so sweet.

I love Rocky III, because I like the whole interaction between Rocky and Mr T/Clubber Lang--"Hey, fool." Hilarious!

I also love the scene between Clubber Lang and the reporter:
"Clubber Lang, what's your prediction for this fight?"

"Prediction?"

"Yes, prediction."

"PAIN."

Also I like the end of Rocky III where Creed and Rocky play around fighting each other. Here I'll ring the bell....."Ding, Ding"

i say rocky IV due to the sole fact that ivan drago was such a robotic baddass! the classic line of almost all movies is " I must break you" and then those damn gloves and the dust and the glavin....good movie a bit heavy on cold war schwag, but aren't all rocky movies a bit on the corny side....i mean even the first rocky "condominiums?...i never use 'em" classic film making...but in the end the tie goes to the superior yet inferior commie bastard ivan drago...and his cadre of pharmacists!

quite simply:...the original "rocky" is the best....rarely does a sequel measure up to the original.....especially pertaining to this movie....look at the theme here:....a man gains self respect by just going the distance...for once in his life he felt like he wasn't just another loser from the neighborhood....simple, but it's the american dream....a nobody finally makes it big.....it spawned 5 more, right?....

3 was my favorite fight

but as for story lines

1 and 6 tied for first place.

they were the only ones where you could trully say he fought with heart.

seems like the other 4 were just him being champ.

didnt seem the same.
