if the question is man por woman, you need to consider your host and their other guests first. the friends were nice enough to invite you and you should ask them this question. good ettiquite means you care how others feel and want to make them as comfortable as possible. so, ask your friends what would make everyone else most comfortable. don't judge them if they feeel it would make their other guests uncomfortable with you as a woman. it's THEIR party andyou should comply with their wishes.

Go as 'Gun's and Roses'!! You can put loads of roses all over your shirt, and get loads of toy guns and rifle! (Also, shows the masculine/feminine too!) My son went as this, looked great!

I always go as a psychopath..... then i can wear what i like 'cos they blend in with everyone.... :-))
Iv'e not seen a psycopath dressed up with a cape and tights.... having said that i haven't seen a psycopath.....

it dosent matter as long as you like what you wear but i would suggest a matchin suit as the same color of the dress the ladys might be wearing
