Should I switch off the UPS button while I turn off my computer?Should I also switch off the mains button?

Please suggest if I should switch off the button of my UPS while I turn off my computer and should I also switch off the mains button in this case.

Or should I keep the main button on and switch off the UPS button so that it may keep charging?

Does UPS keep charging while we work on computer?

The objective of the UPS is to keep up a supply of power to a computer terminal or server in a event of a power failure or outage.

If you wish to turn off your UPS when you turn off the computer it is all up to you, but be aware the battery level in the UPS will not be up to 100% ready next time in a event when you need it.

All UPS will automatically charge when it detect its battery level is less than optimum even when you are working on it.

I think you better leave them (the UPS) on. Ussually a unit like that stop charging automatically when it's fully charged. When you're using your computer, the computer uses the power from the power plug through the UPS (not from the UPS - UPS works as a stabilizer). If somehow the power is down, then the computer automatically uses /switched to the UPS as a power source plus stabilizer. When the power back on, automatically the computer switch to the power plug, plus the UPS will start charging it self.

It probably wouldn't hurt to leave your UPS on. One thing to remember is that your computer will not power on if the the UPS is not turned on. This may cause confusion for other users. And regarding charging, the UPS will charge the battery to full power if it is not already full, If the computer is on or off.
