I work with students, and mainly men. I usually get loads of cards, on the whole amusing, and a good laugh.
My car gets decorated with all kinds of stuff. Sometimes I am clever and park it where it can't be seen.
It's all done in good humour, and I take it in that spirit.
So, hopeful and bursting with love...

im excited for once, i usually hate the day and resent everyone whos happy (even if i have someone!!) but my boyfriend this year has planned a whole day for me and is treating me properly lol why i hear u ask? well last year, my ex bought me a box of maltesers and a ripped card (i obviously meant so much to him!) and the year before, i went to my aunties, got drunk and made a bookcase which i then dragged up the stairs on my own lol so he decided i need a proper valentines bless him..sweet really!

Well in 1988 I received my engagement ring from my now husband on this day which was filled with happy memories.
But this year I am a little sad because my husband will be in the field for 3 days including this one to play war games to prepare to go to Iraq in May for a year, so he'll miss the next one too. :(

Um... I think it's extravagant ad frivolous. I hate the first Weekday after it because then I have to listen to the people who 'lost their virginity' for the 89th time. Oh, the joys of going to a girl's school...
