Yes. I am Muslim and back in Elementary school, I was the only girl in the entire school who wore a headscarf. Most people were very respectful for it, but only to my face. Some of the girls in my class, said things about me behind by back like "paki" and they made fun of my religion. I knew this because my best friend told me she overheard them talking.

I still get harrassed sometimes now too, even though I am out of school. After 9-11, I notice a lot of people giving me stares, cut-eye, and comments like "terrorist" when I go out to shopping malls. I really am I a nice person and I in NO WAY support the 9-11 attacks, so I find it kind of shallow for people to judge me according to my religious beliefs and not my personal ethics.

Yes.
In a shop in Hong Kong I wasn't allowed to try an outfit on. All Asians shoppers were allowed to go the fitting rooms. As a Caucasian I was discriminated against.

I wasn't offended - simply didn't buy anything

Yes, when I was in middle school this girl tried to push me down a flight of steps after Black History, I am white, and she seemed to hate me especially after hearing about slavery. But there is no history in my family of ever been a part of slavery, still Black History is my favorite subject. And am glad she is someone of the past. =)

yes some teachers at school who had come from a different country thought of distributing their used old torn clothes among schoolchildren as they considered ours to be a poor country but all of us in the hostel replied to their action by packing some of our new clothes in a bag and giving them saying that we thought they needed it more than us..........
tell me how was it..

i have been accused of being racist to try and force me to sell beer or cigarettes. i refuse to be scared into breaking the law, and when young people of any race use the "race card" for such petty self gratifying causes, it demeans civil rights and all of the people who fought and died to ensure equality for all.
