I will advise you not to take computers after 10, go for PCM and one any other subject which needs less effort so that you can concentrate on Maths.
MATHS IS A MUST TILL 12TH STANDARD. IT HARDLY MATTERS IF YOU HAVE INTEREST IN MATHS OR NOT, JUST GO FOR IT IF YOU WANT A BRIGHT FUTURE AHEAD.
after 12th if you have interest in computers you can go for engineering.
Having maths at +2 level will open doors of lots of careers which you can choose later on.
Work hard and take maths, you will never regret it.

Before choosing any subject for yourself the foremost thing to consider is that,"Are you really having interest in the subject “?
You must have heard lots about computer science but try and analyze yourself whether you have that burning desire to actually find out about the hardware, software and all the intricacies of a computer machine. If yes then, nothing is like computer science.
The reason being you would be having 24 hours to play with machine which is also your subject. It’s not with any other branch in science. There is lot of scope of it in India as well as abroad, the way world is changing computers would be a necessacity of each house as well as office. There is also lots of scope of chip design for computer hardware and handheld computers in India now. So for class 10th it would be a good start for you.

I am a class 9 student and I am definitely not well authorised to answer you. But I have had some counselling done to me by my parents. And according to them computer science is going to be quite a good industry and they say that if people work hard on it there is defenitely a chance of working abroad. And anyway I think the most important thing is if you wanna take computer as your main stream. If you love it you'll shine in it anyway! Dont just go into a subject just because you wanna have a nice job!!

Look man if u r doing computer engineering u have to know everything and i mean everything in comps. Before what used to happen is that some people used to just do C++ but then they used to get a job but now all companies want a broader knowledge base so either u be the best in all comp sciences or have something as a back up to fall onto as i don't think that comp science alone as a carrier will be supported through out ur life and believe me i have researched and that is what i am doing now i m going for engineering (not comp) and then doing all external NIIT courses to suppoert myself alone comp science will not work listen to me I KNOW!!

ya....
and like eng. , comp. is also an inevitiable part of our life
In some companies it is mandatory to have its knowledge.
moreover if you are going to choose comp. after +2, u'll surely get a large list of courses in comp. field.
in India many MNC's have come which need employees well trained in comp.
