I have bought a load of ebay and so far no postive on the ovulation tests despite the fact on other tests previously i have have had postives and im on clomid.

I know these are internet cheapies and they say they are FDA and CE approved.

Experiences and opinions greatly recived!!

Thank you

Hi,

It is true that Ovulation Tests do not work for some people - but sometimes it is the method in which they are used that is leading women to think they are not right for them.

When using an OPK - it must be done in the evening - between 4pm-7pm is the best time as LH builds in your system throughout the day. You should also limit you fluid intake for about 2 hours before and hold your urine.

Many women will get 1 positive OPK per cycle, others may get 2/3 but once you do have a positive you can be pretty sure that ovulation will occur within the next 24-48 hours.

I also recommend that you use the BBT method at the same time - that way if you don't get a positive OPK and your temp shows that you have ovulated you can be sure that OPK's are not right for you.

I do hope this helps.

sometimes we do not actually ovulate, so therefore the tests would not show up. i was feeling a bit like you when i bought some off eBay, but in the end they worked just fine, i mean if you really think about the things can only test positive for one to two days max in every cycle. like everything its trial and error, but i think yours will probably be fine in the end. maybe you should start testing a day or two earlier . good luck

OVULATION TEST HAS NEVER WORK FOR ME. I USE DAYS AND ANY TIME MY WIFE WANTS TO GET PREGNANT IT WORKS FOR US. CLOMID IS GOOD BUT USE MORE VITAMIN E. IF YOU WANT TO GET PREGNANT USE THE FF METHOD.

7 DAYS AFTER COMPLETION OF PERIOD WILL YIELD NO PREGNANCY. THE 14 DAYS THAT FOLLOWS WILL BRING PREGNANCY. IS POSITIVE. 7 DAYS BEFORE PERIOD DATE WILL ALSO YIELD NO PREGNANCY. GOOD LUCK.
