I would free them to face a few members of the British Army and film what happens so the world could see what cowards they are.

Yes I think the men who wanted to behead soldiers should be severely punished. Why are they allowed to exploit the human rights and get civilized treatment and yet our soldiers dont have any? Why are the families of these perpetrators allowed to stay residents in this country because they are close knit communities and i dont believe for one minute that others didnt know about it. This country is far too soft on all abusers and perpetrators from every walk of life and i can see why so many now want to bring back the death penalty and more and more support for this is growing. They should also consider paedophiles on that list. All these people should also be made EXEMPT from being able to sue anyone as they end up suing the UK.
Half the problem with crimes in this country is the fact that most crimes are treated too leniently and they get a life of luxery in prisons. That is not a deterent and seriously makes mockery of the law.
But unfortunatly there are too many do gooders in this country that think these bad people should have human rights and be treated like saints. Its these do gooders that cause many of the problems when it comes to justice and exploit the human rights act to protect the baddies and put more innocent people at risk.
They will argue the rights for those evil men and yet none of them are targeted, why not?
Jade goody got more publicity and backlash for her behaviour than these men who wanted to behead our soldiers. Whats that all about?

They want to kill a British soldier just because he is Muslim, in my opinion, it could be said hanging is too good for them, but they could always be given the choice of being shot. However, regardless of the martyrdom issue, it is the only way to make sure they are gone for good.
The trouble with this country's government is, they bend over backwards not to upset the Muslim community. Can you imagine what would happen to traitors caught in Afghanistan, Iraq or any other Muslim country. They wouldn't pamper their prisoners. The Iraqi Court didn't mess around with Saddam, did they?
Remember, there are far more good Muslims than bad, but the bad ones must be found. The trouble with the bad ones is that they seem able to find passages in the Koran which justifies their right to murder indiscriminately.
If they are given long prison sentences, then make them realise they are being punished while they are serving their sentence, don't give in to all the demands.

They didnt actually do it so I dont think the punishment should be that bad. I think if you kill someone or do some terrorist attack and actually carry it out then prison for life or the death sentence but if you think about it prison for life would be worse and they would suffer more. The death sentence should only be used for really bad things like killing loads of people or something. And if they are put in prison it should be a tiny cell and they should be allowed to not treat them well.

I do not agree with hanging because it is too easy a punishment for a terrorist who has beheaded someone. A sentence of life in prison watching Jerry Springer 24 hours a day would be more effective a deterrent

YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!
I think the punishment should be raised!
For Acts of terrorism or Planning to carry out an act of Terrorism the penalty should be DEATH.
For Spreading racial hatred and inciting terorism or terroist acts the penalty should be LIFE in prison - meaning LIFE!!!
For suppoting terrorists in any way, through financial support, verbal support, places to live etc etc, the penalty should be 25 YEARS.
With the smallest sentance for any terrorism "crime" the sentance should be 25 years that would make a lot of people think twice!!!!!
If people let the terrorists live with them and the terrorists go and commit a bombing etc, then that person should go to prison, have ALL of their assets seized by the government and sold off on auction sites etc. etc. to raise more money to help fight terrorism!
LET THE BAS TAR DADS HANG!!!!!!!

No, I do not believe they should die, instead they should be locked up for life. You have to remember When the IRA were in their Hay day innocent people were locked up for years on end for example the Birmingham Six and the Guilford Four, if the UK had capital punishment these people would have got the death penalty.

As you can see, a lot of people do. But think about it - these people are taught a strange theory that if they die as martyrs, they will go instantly (or some say in 4 minutes, which is amazingly unbelievable) to a Heaven where they will have loads of submissive females forever. Hanging them will only encourage more to do the same. Put them in jail for the rest of their lives, without parole, and that will discourage them.

I think if found guilty they should be exterminated some way.If they believe the theory that they will go to heaven and be received by 70 virgins then spoil it for them by castrating them before dispatching them.By the way will the virgins all be wearing burkas
