If a gay male (GM) and straight male (SM) live together in the same house for more than a year is there a relationship going on between them?

Gay male is dominant and high achiever and is older by about 5 years. Straight male is 22. Is there any chance the straight male can possibly offer a sincere care to the gay male?

Why do you think the SM always thinks that the GM is taking advantage of him? The GM is sincere in helping the SM, in fact the GM offers his house for the SM without any payment.

Yes, they do have sex. In their case, I think having sex is valid in the situation because they have an agreement to have a "special relationship". SM and GM agreed on that part.

Do you think the SM is taking advantage the GM because he is afraid of losing him? Do you think their relationship is rooted on trust or need?

Who needs the relationship better, the SM or GM? (GM seems trustworthy, but doubtful on sincerity.) Can a SM truly loves a GM? Does this happen before?

Answers: yes, possibly, not sure, afraid of losing the financial security, need, both for different reasons, yes, yes.

Generally: Gay men and straight men can have intimate and meaningful relationships...without sex.

Specifically: It sounds like GM has a paid houseboy. Some people will do anything for money so SM could be straight, but I doubt it...probably bisexual. This relationship is based on need...GM needs love, SM needs money/security.

I think this is a relationship that is symbiotic in nature, and can only end in tears.

Ultimately he (SM) is jealous of the life you have created for yourself and wants a 'free ride', and you (GM) just wants to be loved and also get the kudos / kick out of sleeping with a straight man.

Someone will get hurt and a friendship will not be salvageable.

Walk away while you still can.

BTW - I think you are both taking advantage of each other (in different ways). Not the healthy basis for a stable, loving relationship, no matter if it's gay or straight.

Dude...let's cut to the chase. The so-called straight guy who YOU say does have sex with the gay male is either bi or gay himself.

No 100% straight dude would have a sexual relationship with a guy.

No, I don't think so.
Years ago I shared an apartment with a straight guy, nothing ever happened.
